Hello, I am learning data trees in grasshopper following the syntax logic as described here: data tree selection rules
when feeding a mask into the split tree component and using ellipses (...) to indicate an infinite set, I continue to get an error message saying that "char '...' is not a recognized notation rule."
I am working on the mac version of grasshopper and i noticed that, when typing in ellipses, the software auto formats my entry and makes the spacing between ellipses into a character symbol, thus messing up my syntax.
if anyone else is/was having this issue. you can turn off "smart quotes" on your mac by "system preferences > keyboard > uncheck smart quotes and dashes.
I struggled with figuring this out today, so I hope that someone may find this information useful.
